Anne Frank's story on display in National Library
Adjust font size:

A free exhibit centering on Anne Frank's "The Diary of a Young Girl" opened at the National Library of China on Saturday.

The exhibit tells the story of Anne Frank and her family, who were murdered by the Nazis during the Holocaust during World War II.

Copies of the diary and various translations of the book will be on display, Beijing-based newspaper the Jinghua Times reported.

This is the first time the traveling exhibition, "Anne Frank: a History for Today," has toured on the Chinese mainland.

The exhibit will run through January 22, 2008.
