Singin'In The Rain to Splash on HK Stage
Singin'In The Rain, one of the world's most celebrated musical, is to splash down on the stage of Hong Kong starting from October 1 this year, its director announced Thursday.

According to the musical's director David Atkins, the musical set in Hollywood in 1927, will premiere at the Lyric Theater, the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts for six shows on six consecutive days.

David Atkins expressed belief that the cast of 35, is "the cream of the industry -- one of the best combinations of principals and ensemble performers I have ever worked with." The cast has recently finished a 15-month tour of Australia where it played to over 650,000 people.

Singin'In The Rain is co-produced by IMG and David Atkins Enterprises.
