Int'l Education Cooperation Week to Be Held in Beijing
The 2002 International Education Cooperation Week (IECW), the largest of its kind since China's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), will held in Beijing from September 24 to 30.

Universities from around the world, including leading US Universities of Harvard, Stanford and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), will participate in the exposition. Senior officials from the American Educational Testing Service (ETS) will also attend.

With the theme "Education, Economy, Science, Cooperation", the 2002 IECW will also host a series of seminars for universities and companies from the industrial and financial sectors.

"By promoting cooperation between educational institutions and industrial sectors, we hope to provide more opportunities for China's public and private universities," said an official of the organizing committee.
