CUHK, HEC to Offer Cooperative MBA Program
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the HEC School of Management, Paris, will offer a cooperative MBA program to cultivate a global business executive.

"Our objective is to provide solid business training in a highly international environment by building on each institution's excellence in management education and by blending the richness and variety of Europe and Asia," said Professor Vincent S. Lai, associate dean of business administration and MBA director of the CUHK, Wednesday.

Joshua Kobb, development director of HEC, also agreed that cross-cultural knowledge is important in today's business environment.

"Business increasingly involves international contacts. Thus, a multinational learning environment is the key to broaden one's personal and professional profile," he added.

According to the agreement reached by both institutions, participants may begin the cooperative program at either institution, and must fulfill the admission requirements established by each program.

Students who fulfill the requirements of both institutions will be awarded two MBA degrees from both institutions.

CUHK is a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong and the first university to establish a full-time MBA degree program in Hong Kong. HEC, established in 1881, is considered one of Europe's leading business schools and its MBA program consistently ranks among Europe's finest.
