Oriental Jewels
A joint art exhibition of works by Lu Renjie and Li Yu is now on exhibition at Art50 at the Novotel Atlantis Shanghai until May 5.

Titled "Wisdom Blossoms in the Field of the Heart" the exhibition gathers recent Chinese paintings by the two young artist.

The works on rice paper reflect the richness of oriental culture and the artists' love of nature.

In a slight departure from traditional Chinese paintings, these pictures have a subtle touch of Western and modern influence.

Lu Renjie graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the Fine Arts College of Shanghai University. Li Yu graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts.

Art50 is a gallery and revolving restaurant featuring seafood. Every few months Art50 and Art networking dotcom launch exhibitions. All pictures are collectable.
