22nd Hong Kong Film Awards Unveiled
The 22nd Hong Kong Film Awards were unveiled in the Hong Kong Cultural Center Sunday evening.

Hero and Infernal Affairs both became the big winners of this year's awards.

Infernal Affairs, which got 16 nominations, claimed seven awards, including the Best Film. "Hero" won seven awards from the 14 nominations.

Tony Leung won the Best Actor for the film Infernal Affairs and Lee Sin Je won the Best Actress for the film The Eye.

Andrew Lau and Alan Mak, directors of Infernal Affairs, won the award of Best Director.

Korean film My Sassy Girl was awarded the Best Asian Film.

The Hong Kong Film Awards started in 1982. The annual awards have become a major event not only in the Hong Kong film industry but also in Southeast Asia.
