CityU Strengthens Cooperation With Mainland Legal Professionals
The School of Law of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) is launching a China Outreaching Program to strengthen an understanding of professional legal educators between mainland and Hong Kong.

During the two-day outreaching plan in Beijing, CityU will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Law Press of China for publication of a yearbook to cultivate better links with the political, judiciary, legal and academic arena as well as an alumni in the mainland, according to the university Wednesday.

Moreover, "The Handbook of The Criminal Justice Process," co-edited by Mike McConville, Dean of CityU's School of Law, will be launched on April 11.

Chan noted that the school is also offering in mainland and Hong Kong four prestigious LLM Scholarships during the 2003/04 academic year for postgraduate legal education.
