The local tea dance by girls in light green brought the tea festival to its end. People stepped out to watch tea baking and the performance of tea ceremony in the open of Xinchang County, where over 420,000-acre tea plantations are located.

The organizers said having the closing ceremony outside of Shanghai was to "get close to nature", the first time in its nine-year-history.

The festival also included the exposition of famous varieties of tea from other provinces. Visitors were invited to taste and were taught by tea growers to examine their tealeaves.
