China's first digital movie on fighting SARS has begun shooting in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan Province.
The province's popular VJ Shu Gao plays a part in the movie.
With an investment of some US$98,000, the digital film will take one month to produce and is expected to open in cinemas soon.
It is said the movie is not profit-oriented, and the actors are not asking for any salary. Shu Gao is to make her film debut as a nurse in the movie.
