Books Published in Memory of Mao Zedong's Birth Anniversary

The Communist Party of China (CPC)History Publishing House recently published a dozen books on the study of the country during Mao Zedong's times and his personal life, in memory of the 110th anniversary of his birth.

The books include China in Mao Zedong's Era, A Close Look at Mao Zedong, On the Eve of the Founding of the PRC -- Mao Zedong's Days in Xibaipo, Mao Zedong's First Years in Zhongnanhai, and 110 Stories About Mao Zedong.

The authors of these books were noted scholars and researchers on the history of the CPC and the late Chinese leader, according to sources with the publishing house.

Mao was born on December 26, 1893 and died on September 9, 1976.
