Books Published to Mark 40 Years of Sino-French Ties

Three books on Sino-French relations were launched here Monday to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties.

The books, compiled by China's Foreign Ministry, include a photo collection The 40 Years Since the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and France (1964 - 2004), a memoir written by senior Chinese diplomats to France, and a compilation of speeches by leaders of both countries, bilateral agreements and documents.

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing and French Ambassador to China Jean-Pierre Lafon attended the launch ceremony.
