The deep, magnetic voice of Fei Yu-ching is often associated with the past, yet understandably, always appeals to the present. The Taiwan singer has a certain charm about him in combination with his enchanting love ballads and friendly manner. And he's been building a huge fan base since the mid 1980s. But it was only recently that Fei performed solo in Taiwan.

The concert captured much of Fei's life as a singer. Many of his classics are theme songs for TV dramas. And these tunes have lived on long after the story lines were forgotten.

Two generations of fans attended the concert. Fei was flattered that his songs appeal to the old as well as the young. And he was even more delighted by the presence of his brother Faye Cheung, a famous variety show host in Taiwan.

Taiwan Singer Fei Yu-ching said, "Tonight I am in Taiwan. There are dozens of shows and concerts going on right now on the island. So, I'm really happy you decided to come see me. I have several new songs, which I'll be performing in Shanghai. Hope to see you there. Thank you!"

His calm delivery is infectious. It lends infinite meaning to whatever he chooses to sing, and he always penetrates deep into the soul of his listeners.
