Chinese Cultural Week Ends in Mongolia

Chinese Cultural Week came to a close in Ulan Bator on Tuesday, giving the Mongolian audience a fresh view of the Chinese culture.

Various activities were staged during the cultural week, including performances of Chinese acrobatics, singing and dancing, as well as exhibitions of photos and Chinese musical instruments.

The Mongolians also got a chance to appreciate a number of Chinese films during the Chinese Movie Week, which was part of the cultural event.

Mongolian Minister of Education, Culture and Sciences Ayurzanaa Chanjid said the cultural week had attracted nearly 20,000 people and would enhance the cultural relations between the two countries.

The cultural event was unveiled on April 7 in the Mongolian capital. It was the first such cultural activity staged by China in Mongolia.
