New Natural Enemy of Forest Pest Found in China

Experts from Hebei Province have found a new insect species which may be a natural enemy to forests pests.

During recent investigations in forests in the Hebei Province, researchers found the new insect species lives on pine trees, sharing their habitat with forest pests.

They say it's necessary to continue to research the new species, which may help control the pest.

They hope to breed the new insect species then set it free in the forest to control the pests.

Researchers say forest pests have destroyed almost a million hectares of forest in Hebei Province.
