Shanghai has issued two black warnings for heavy fog in just one hour Monday morning, as visibility was reduced to less than 50 meters at some areas of the city.

At least 40 flights at Hongqiao International Airport were delayed this morning, with some ports and expressways being temporarily closed for safety reasons.

Foggy weather has continued for three days, and meteorologists predict that it will continue into tomorrow morning.
