Adjust font size:

The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) on Friday announced its decision to extend the term of appointment for four environment consultants.

Vice Mayor of Beijing and BOCOG Executive Vice President Liu Jingmin received Liao Xiaoyi, president of the Global Village of Beijing on Friday and issued her an appointment letter, with a service term to last until the end of the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games. The same appointment was extended to three others, namely Jin Jianming, Liang Congjie and Liao Xiudong.

To draw talents from the society and stage a "Green Olympics," BOCOG appointed four environment experts as its consultants in 2002.
