Shenzhen Encourages Civil Reports of Environmental Violations
The environmental protection administration of Shenzhen in southern China has promulgated rules to award civil reports of environmental violations by industrial institutions.

The violations include establishment of polluting projects and the use of sub-standard wastewater and other dangerous wastes without the approval of environmental protection authorities and disassembling or idling of pollution control facilities.

They also cover discharging of wastewater by means of seepage and restoration of production of industrial institutions that have been suspended from production by environmental authorities and illegal transfer or disposal of dangerous wastes.
