Wet, Hot Days Ahead for Shanghai
Prepare for a wet, hot week, local meteorologists warned Sunday.

Rainy weather is likely to prevail through Thursday, while the temperature probably will continue to climb, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said yesterday.

The high could reach 32 degrees Celsius, while the average temperature will hover around 24 degrees,

Today's high is expected hit 29 degrees, 0.7 degrees higher than yesterday.

The low will be about 21 degrees.

A rain belt north of Shanghai will bring drizzles in some areas of the city today and tomorrow, and heavy showers citywide on Wednesday and Thursday.
