SEPA Publicizes Manual for Environmental Emergencies
The State Environmental Protection Administration has issued a manual for environmental emergencies for its local environmental legal enforcement agencies. The manual has defined in great detail the requirements for environmental emergencies in the fight against the SARS.

It introduces emergent treatment measures and environmental monitoring methods for quick reference at any possible pollution sites. It also deals with the knowledge about 39 common chemicals and relevant laws and decrees about pollution accidents and dangerous chemicals and recommends emergency steps. It offers materials about 12 major disinfectant agents including Peracetic acid and Javel water.
