'Swan Lake' in Inner Mongolia

The picture shows that flocks of white swans cruise on the surface of the Dalnuur Lake in Hexigten Banner, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, November 9, 2003.

The Prairie-Swan-Lake-dubbed Dalnuur Lake, perched in Chifeng City of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is a State-level Nature Reserve designated for the protection of rare species of birds and prairie, lake and swamp, etc, upon which some 160 species of rare birds there are reliant for survival.
