International tennis star Rainer Schuettler has arrived in Beijing to attend the China Tennis Open starting on Friday.

Schuettler has been working on adapting himself to his new surroundings by training on the center court of the newly-built Beijing Tennis Center.

The 28-year-old German received a warm welcome by media and fans wherever he went.

He will skip the ATP qualifying tournament and advance into the main draw starting from next week.
