18 Dead, 100 More Wounded in Latest Baghdad Air Strikes
Iraqi Information Minister Mohammad Said al-Sahaf said in Baghdad on Tuesday that 18 people were killed and more than 100 wounded in this Iraqi capital in the United States-led air raids from Monday evening to so far Tuesday.

Sahhaf told a press conference that Iraqi civilians have also been killed as a result of military action in other cities.

He said reports from various Iraqi cities and other places indicated that more than 30 other Iraqis were killed and more than130 injured in various other parts of Iraq, including the provinces of Qadisiyah, Babylon and Salaheddin.

Five were killed and 25 wounded in Tuesday morning's raids in Baghdad, he said.
