Two US Marine pilots were killed when an AH-1W "Super Cobra" attack helicopter crashed in central Iraq early Saturday, the US Central Command announced.
In a statement issued, the US Central Command said preliminary indications showed that the crash was not a result of hostile fire.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and names of the two pilots killed were being withheld pending next-of-kin notification, it added.
