HK Receives Another Batch of Chinese Mainland Medical Supplies
Hong Kong Thursday received another batch of medical supplies and protective gear from the central government of China. They were sent to help control Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome in Hong Kong.

Representing the central government, the deputy director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, Qiu Jianhua, led a team of 12 people to hand over the supplies.

They include 1,000,000 surgical masks, 600,000 sets of protective clothing, about 138,000 eye shields, 20,000 face shields and 350 sets of infrared thermal imaging machines.

The representative of the Hong Kong Chief Executive's Office, Richard Yuen, received the gift on behalf of the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
