Chinese, Gabonese Presidents Vow to Further Bilateral Ties

President Hu Jintao met Thursday with Gabonese President El Hadj Omar Bongo Ondimba on the sideline of the UN's 60th anniversary summit and the two leaders exchanged views on furthering bilateral friendship and cooperation.

Hu said Sino-Gabonese friendship and cooperation have entered a new stage with more political mutual trust, expanded cooperation in resources, energy and infrastructural construction and sound cooperation in international affairs.
