Weekly Weather Forecast (August 13 to 19 2007)

Northwest China: On August 13, northern Xinjiang will be overcast with light rain or showers. From August 14 to 16, northern and western Xinjiang will expect light to moderate rain, turning heavy in some areas. Eastern sections of the region will be overcast with light rain or showers, turning moderate to heavy in some areas. From August 17 to 19, northern Xinjiang, western Gansu and Qinghai will be pierced by showers.

North China: From August 13 to 15, central Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin and Shanxi will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers. Mid-southern parts of the region will expect heavy rain to downpour, turning much heavier with strong wind in some areas. From August 16 to 18, most parts will be sunny and hot with little rain. On August 19, eastern and western Inner Mongolia will expect showers or thundershowers while mid-southern sections of the region will still be dominated by hot weather.

Northeast China: From 13 to 14, mid-southern parts of the region will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers but some parts will expect heavy rain to downpour, turning much heavier with strong wind in some areas. From August 15 to 17, most parts will be sunny and hot with little rain. From August 18 to 19, northern and eastern parts will be pierced by showers or thundershowers.

Central China: On August 13, Henan's some areas will be pierced by showers or thundershowers. From August 14 to 15, mid-northern parts of the region will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers, changing from heavy rain to downpour with strong wind in some areas. On August 16, mid-southern parts will expect showers or thundershowers. From August 17 to 19, Hunan's most parts will see showers or thundershowers except its southern parts which will expect heavy rain to downpour. Henan and most parts of Hubei will be sunny and hot with little rain and cloud.

East China: From August 13 to 15, most parts will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers but some parts will expect heavy rain to downpour, turning much heavier with strong wind in some areas. On August 16, the most of the areas south of Huaihe River will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers, escalating to heavy rain or downpour in some areas. From August 17 to 19, the areas south of Yangtze River will expect light to moderate rain or thundershowers, changing from heavy rain to downpour with strong wind in some areas. The areas north of the river will be sunny and hot with little rain and cloud.

South China: From August 13 to 15, mid-southern parts of the region will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers, changing from heavy rain to downpour in some areas. From August 16 to 19, most parts will expect light to moderate rain or thundershowers but some parts will see heavy rain to downpour, turning much heavier with strong wind in some areas.

Southwest China: August 13 to 16, most parts of Tibet and eastern sections of the region will see light to moderate rain or showers, turning heavy in some areas. August 18 to 19, most parts will expect light to moderate rain or showers, becoming heavy rain in some areas.
