Weekly weather forecast (November 12 to 18, 2007)

Northwest China: In the first half of the upcoming week, most parts of the region will be sunny to cloudy while some eastern sections and southern Qinghai will be overcast with light snow. On November 16, northern Xinjiang and southern Qinghai will be overcast with light snow and the eastern sections of the region will see force 4 to 5 northerly winds. From November 17 to 18, the eastern parts will be overcast with light snow or sleet, force 5 northerly winds, and falling temperatures.

North China: From November 12 to 13, some northern and eastern sections of the region will be overcast with light snow or sleet, force 4 to 5 winds, and falling temperatures. From November 14 to 15, most parts will be cloudy but northeastern Inner Mongolia will be overcast with light snow, turning moderate in some areas. From November 16 to 17, most parts will see force 4 to 6 northerly or southerly winds with temperatures declining substantially. On November 18, most parts will be overcast with light to moderate snow in some northern areas. 

Northeast China: From November 12 to 13, most parts will be overcast with light snow or sleet, turning moderate with force 4 to 5 northerly winds and falling temperatures in some areas. From November 14 to 15, most parts will be cloudy while some northern areas will be overcast with light snow. From November 16 to 17, mid-eastern sections of the region will see light to moderate snow, turning heavy in some areas. Most areas will see force 5 to 7 southerly winds turning northerly later with temperatures declining substantially. On November 18, the region will be sunny to overcast with force 4 to 5 northerly winds. 

Central China: From November 12 to 15, most parts of the region will be cloudy but the western areas will be overcast with light rain. From November 16 to 17, the northern parts will see force 4 northerly winds while the mid-southern areas will be overcast with light rain, turning moderate with temperatures declining in some areas. On November 18, most parts will be overcast with light to moderate rain in some western and northern areas.

East China: On November 12, most parts will be cloudy. On November 13, some northern and mid-southern areas will be overcast with light rain. From November 14 to 15, the region will be cloudy. From November 16 to 17, the region will be overcast with light rain. Some mid-northern areas will see force 4 northerly winds with temperatures falling. On November 18, most parts will be cloudy with showers in some southern areas.

South China: From November 12 to 14, most parts will be cloudy while some northern and coastal areas will see light rain. From November 15 to 16, most parts will be sunny to cloudy with showers in some areas. From November 17 to 18, some eastern and northern sections will see light rain in some areas. Other sections will be cloudy.

Southwest China: From November 12 to 14, the region's eastern parts and eastern Tibet will be overcast with light snow or sleet with moderate rain in some areas. From November 15 to 16, most parts will be cloudy but some areas will be overcast with light snow. From November 17 to 18, the region's eastern sections and eastern Tibet will be overcast with snow.
