Hong Kong blockbuster Twins Effect II starring Jacky Chan premiered in Beijing Sunday afternoon.

All of Jacky Chan's family members will be present at the premier, but the action star himself has to disappoint his fans this time.

His son, Jaycee, is said to have earned 3 million Hong Kong dollars, about US$390,000, for his first major star role.

Costing US$10 million, this first Chinese science fiction movie to enter the Academy Awards will move to Shanghai and Hong Kong in the following two days.

Starring a group of China's most dazzling actors, such as Hollywood action star Jackie Chan, his son Jaycee Chan and the popular singing duo Twins, the movie will be released in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia in mid-August.
