Competition will be for the movie dollar will be fierce during the National Holiday in with Harry Potter III postponing its debut in China until late September, vowing to compete with Wang Kar-Wai's 2046.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was originally scheduled to hit Chinese cinemas on September 10, but has been delayed until the 20th.

Jackie Chan's latest hit New Police Story will also open across the country on the 24th, so the three blockbusters will battle it out for audiences across the holiday period.
