Hong Kong director Johnnie To says his next two projects, Elect the Boss and Pocket Picker, are in the production stage and will be completed later this year. 

Hong Kong director Johnnie To says his next two projects are in the production stage and be completed later this year.

The film Elect the Boss, or Xuan Lao Zuo in Chinese, starring Simon Yam, is based on the true story of Hong Kong gangsters choosing a new boss.

The other film Pocket Picker, or Wen Que in mandarin, starring Louis Koo, tells a story of a Hong Kong pocket picker, a crime increasing in Hong Kong as more tourist are visiting.

Johnnie To says he'll do his first Hollywood project, a big budget film, in March next year.
