The latest statistics shows that the gross of Chinese box office this year will break the historical record by taking in 150 million, or US$18 million.

Domestic movies this year increased nearly 55 percent of the total market shares.

House of Flying Daggers, the domestic blockbuster this year, topped others on the box office chart with 153 million Yuan, or US$18 million.

Chinese movies beat its US competitors, and kept their top place on the box office chart for three consecutive years. In addition, the productivity of Chinese movies has gained great momentum during the 3 years.
