Peacock Arrives at Berlin

The cast members of the Chinese film Peacock have arrived in Berlin for 55th Berlin International Film Festival, which starts on February 10th.

The film will compete with 21 others for the top prize, the Golden Bear.

Peacock, by fifth generation Chinese filmmaker Gu Changwei, will be released in China on Friday.

Other Chinese films, including director Tsai Ming-Liang's The Wayward Cloud and veteran actress Liu Xiaoqing's Plastic Flowers are also competing for this year's Golden Bear Award.

Some 350 films from 52 countries will be shown during the 11-day event.
