Stars to Lead in Tsui Hark's New Film

A group of Olympic Champions will star in Hong Kong veteran director Tsui Hark's new children's charity film; Light Blue Dark Blue. 

 

A total of 30 film stars, celebrities and sports stars, including the Chinese prince of gymnastics Li Ning, shooting master Wang Yifu and cosmonaut Yang Liwei (who flew in Shenzhou V), will appear in the film for free, almost guaranteeing it box office success.

 

Expert gymnast Liu Xuan will play a gentle teacher in the film, Yang Liwei will be the father of a 6-year old boy and pop singer Na Ying will be the mother of another boy called Da Wang.

 

Chinese comic actor Jiang Kun, rising actress Zhang Jingchu and Hong Kong star Max Mok will all guest star.

 

The film is scheduled to finish filming in two month and is expected to premiere at the traditional spring festival holiday in January next year.
