Bulgaria Congratulates China on Successful Manned Space Mission

Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov on Monday congratulated the successful completion of China's second manned space flight.

"The success of China's second manned space mission proves that China has made remarkable achievements in peaceful exploitation of the outer space," Parvanov said in a congratulatory letter to Chinese President Hu Jintao, as announced by Bulgarian president press office on Tuesday.

China sent its second manned spacecraft, Shenzhou VI, carrying two taikonauts into space last Wednesday morning. The re-entry capsule of Shenzhou VI, landed safely on Earth on Monday, marking the success of China's second manned space mission.

Parvanov, who is now on an official visit in the United States, expressed his wishes that China would obtain new achievements in the future.

In his letter, he also showed satisfaction with the current relationship between Bulgaria and China.
