Beijing's Fight Against SARS to Focus on Four Aspects
A senior Beijing official said Tuesday that Beijing's prevention and control work against SARS will focus on four aspects.

Cai Fuchao, director of the publicity department of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), made the announcement at a press conference.

First, the municipal government planned to set up a shield for the healthy people, protecting them from being infected.

Second, the clinics pertaining to fever patients will be standardized so as to ensure proper layout of the clinics and avoid possible cross-infection.

Third, the government will carry out close observation over people who have close contacts with the SARS patients and improve work on epidemic investigation.

Fourth, the government will make efforts to improve protection on migrant workers in Beijing and the construction sites.
