Bilateral Talks High on Third Day's Agenda

Bilateral talks among the delegations will be high on the third day's agenda for the fourth round of six-party talks on the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue going on in Beijing.

The delegations from North Korea and the US are holding one-on-one talks again this morning, a source close to the six-party talks said.

The outcome of US-North Korea bilateral consultations will influence the upcoming result of this round of six-party talks to a large extent, an analyst said.

There is still no information to indicate the duration of the ongoing talks, involving China, the US, Russia, Japan, South and North Korea.

Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Dai Bingguo held a banquet Thursday noon at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in honor of heads of the delegations to the ongoing six-party talks, according to the press center of the talks.
