New Evidence for Beituan Massacre

A portfolio used by Japanese aggressors is on display June 22, 2005 at the exhibition room of the Beituan Massacre. On May 27, 1942, Japanese troops discharged poisonous gas in Beituan Village in Dingzhou City, Hebei Province, killing over 800 Chinese soldiers and villagers hiding in the tunnel. The portfolio was contributed by 78-year-old Li Qingxiang, a survivor of the massacre. (Xinhua photos)
