The Fourth Plenum of the Party's 16th Central Committee, which ended Sunday, called for greater efforts to improve the Party's capacity to govern the country.

Wu, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the country's top legislative body, said China would walk firmly along the road of political development with Chinese characteristics.
