Senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Wei Jianxing met here Saturday with members of the Second Legal Advisory Committee of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions.
Wei, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, called on the legal experts to work hard to promote the rule of law and actively protect the legal rights of workers nationwide.
Wei is also chairman of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions.
The committee was composed of 30 law experts, experts on labor protection and lawyers.
