The annual college entrance examination will be held as scheduled for the city's over 81,000 examinees on June 7 and 8, a senior Beijing official said in Beijing Friday.

The education authorities of the Capital city have decided to resume classes on May 22 for the examinees in senior middle schools, while other students of middle schools and elementary schools remain at home, said Vice Mayor Fan Boyuan said at a regular press conference.
