Nineteen mayors from home and abroad came to Baiyun Mountain, in southern Chinese city of Guangzhou, on Wednesday, August 29, to experience shadowboxing, known to locals as Tai chi.

Nineteen mayors from home and abroad came to Baiyun Mountain, in southern Chinese city of Guangzhou, on August 29, 2007 to experience shadowboxing, known to locals as Tai chi.

Among the 19 mayors is Hur Nam-Sik, mayor of Pusan in South Korea, and Hirotaro Yamasaki, mayor of Fukuoka in Japan.

They came to the southern metropolis for the Third TPO (Tourism Promotion Organization for Asian-Pacific Cities) General Assembly, held from August 27 to 30.
