China Highlights New Security Concern in IPU

A senior official from the Chinese National People's Congress says multilateral cooperation is the only way to deal with the new security challenge.

Speaking at the 111th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva Tuesday, Wang Liangwang says mutual-trust, equality and coordination are at the core of addressing the new circumstances in the world.

He Yehui, another official from China's top legislative body says, over the past 10 years, the rights of Chinese women have been improved in a range of areas including the economy, politics, society, culture and family life.
