Premier Wen Leaves for Vietnam

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao left Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province, Wednesday afternoon to Vietnam for an official visit at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Phan Van Khai.

Wen will also attend the summit of the fifth Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) held in Hanoi, the country's capital.

Wen's entourage includes Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing, Ministerof Finance Jin Renqing, Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai, Minister of Culture Sun Jiazheng, Wang Chunzheng, vice minister in charge of the State Development and Reform Commission (SDRC) and other senior officials.
