China, Russia Sign Agreement on Energy Resources Cooperation

China and Russia have reached an agreement to further boost cooperation on energy resources.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyuan says the two countries will strengthen the cooperation on oil and natural gas and will make a plan on gas cooperation as soon as possible, according to China Radio International.

Russia has agreed to increase oil export to China through rail shipment and will set the Far East oil pipeline route when they have finished a probe report.

The spokeswoman says the energy cooperation is one important field of relations between China and Russia.
