Cultural Exchanges Fruitful in 2004

China has conducted many cultural exchanges with foreign countries in 2004.

Minister of Culture Sun Jiazheng notes that among the cultural exchanges, the Culture Year of China in France, Sino-Africa cultural exchanges activities and the Sixth Asia Art Festival were the important events.

The minister says China has made its own contributions to ensure cultural diversity in the world by holding the Seventh Ministerial Conference of the International Cultural Policy Forum.

In addition, Sun Jiazheng indicates China will organize more influential cultural activities, establish cultural centers overseas and participate in more multilateral cultural exchanges.
