Howie B Comes to Shenzhen

Howie B, the world's electronic music legend delivered an enthralling Christmas Eve show in Shenzhen, the first stop of his China tour.

Appearing with his trademark pallor, unshaven face and bleary eyes, Howie mixed soul, hip-hop, house, jazz and funk.

As U2's one-time producer, he has worked closely with Bjork, Tricky, Annie Lennox and Shara Nelson, and has always sought to break new ground by combining different musical elements.

His 2001 album Another Late Nite mixed funk and soul, while the 2002 follow-up Fabric Live 05 was a vivid reflection of club culture.

After the one-night show in Shenzhen, he will head for Guangzhou and Shanghai.
