China to Povide Technical Support to Tsunami-hit Areas

China Meteorological Bureau is willing to provide technical support to the countries hit by the fatal tsunami.

The bureau's senior official Wang Bangzhong says China will provide some equipment including apparatus to receive and send satellite information and an automatic weather station based on the need of these tsunami-hit countries.

He also says the weather bureau will predict and assess using the "Fuyun" meteorological satellites.
