Serbian President Starts Visit to China

President Boris Tadic of the Republic of Serbia arrived Sunday in Dalian, a port city in northeast China's Liaoning Province, for a five-day official visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong.  

During the trip, which will also bring him to Beijing and Hong Kong, Tadic is expected to hold talks with Zeng and meet with President Hu Jintao, Chairman Wu Bangguo of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Defense Minister Cao Gangchuan, Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing and Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai on separate occasions.

 

He will also meet representatives from the Chinese business community.
