Vanuatu PM Starts Visit to China

Vanuatuan Prime Minister Ham Lini arrived in Beijing Thursday for an official visit to China from February 24 to March 4 at the invitation of Premier Wen Jiabao.

During Lini's stay in Beijing, President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao and other senior officials will confer with him respectively.

Besides Beijing, Lini will also visit Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province, and Haikou and Sanya, two scenic cities in south China's island province of Hainan.

Lini was elected prime minister of Vanuatu in December 2004.
