He Guoqiang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met with a delegation of the Socialist Party of Serbia, in Beijing Thursday.

He, also a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, said the CPC values its relations with the Socialist Party of Serbia. He said he hoped that the party's visit to China would help improve relations between the two parties and two countries.

The delegation was led by Ivica Dacic, president of the Main Board of the Socialist Party of Serbia. And this is the party's first visit to China in five years.
